Soft roofs

The wording «Soft Roof» is customary to understand a whole class of roofing coatings based on bitumen. Sometimes to determine this type of materials, the term «soft tile» is used. Soft roofs were most widespread in Europe and America, but gradually they win the Russian market of building materials.

The soft roof is based on fiberglass impregnated with Venezuelan bitumen and covered with colored crumbs. This type of bitumen has high indicators of elasticity, it tolerates temperature changes very well and, most importantly, is able to maintain its properties for more than one decade. Due to this soft roof, you can cover the most complex parts of the roof, use this material in all climatic zones, up to the Far North. It should be noted that the soft roof is one of the few roofing materials that can (with proper styling) withstand a hurricane wind.

The process of installing a soft roof is quite simple. Due to the relatively low weight of the coating, the capital base is not required, and the presence of self -adhesive stripes on the wrong side eliminates the need for a special tool and a gas burner.

Today, all soft roof manufacturers are located abroad. Here are the most famous of them: Katepal, KeraBit, Tegola. The quality of the products of these companies is confirmed by European certificates and the guarantees provided (usually for a period of at least 10 years).
