Grinding parquet

How often when buying a particular type of flooring, we allow a sweet -haired seller to convince ourselves that caring for this coating will be extremely simple. However, as you use, we begin to understand: everything is not as simple as it might seem at first glance. It is extremely difficult to care for the type of flooring as parquet. Of course, for the time being, the parquet correctly serves the owners, fulfills the function he has set, but nothing is forever under the moon, and the parquet will deform and wear out over time. At this stage, there is a need for grinding.

Before proceeding with the grinding process, you need to think carefully about the choice of equipment. All machines for processing are divided into three types: corner, drum and flat -grinding. To polish the parquet in hard -to -reach places use angular vehicles. Under hard -to -reach places are meant places under batteries, for skirting boards and all kinds of hard -moving equipment. The flat -grinding type of machines is used if your parquet is laid by a floating method. Drum grinding machines are quite heavy, so they are used when working with a thick parquet board. Depending on what result you want to achieve due to grinding, you should use grinding paper of different granularity. The larger you want to remove, the greater the granularity of the paper should be. However, the large layer should not be removed immediately. It is worth doing this gradually, first remove the layer of varnish, and then grind the floor to the desired result. However, nevertheless, the grinding of the parquet with your efforts is a rather difficult task, so we recommend that you turn to professionals.
