Flooring with cork panels allows you to achieve a lot of serious positive effects. The finish made through this material shows high thermal insulation and at the same time does not wear out for a long time. The procedure for fixing cork panels on the floor surface is quite simple.
Initially, the floor should be prepared. The essence of such an event is that the leveling screed is poured. Due to the fact that cork tile has a slight weight, the screed does not have to be concrete. It can be made according to a dry principle using MDF panels or dense drywall.
Then proceed to fix the cork tile itself. There are two options for how this material can be mounted on the surface. The first is called Beskleev. Its essence is that the panels are laid on the floor and fastened with locks. Along the perimeter of the room, such a cladding is additionally fixed with skirting boards.
But there is also a method in which the material is attached using glue. Then the panels from the cork not only adhere to each other, but also glued to the base. Previously, the floor with this option should be treated with a primer.
