Americabank presented a new program for Armenian students
As you know, one of the most serious problems for university graduates is the search for work. AmericaBank with its new program «Amery Generation» provides a talented and purposeful youth with a great opportunity to find a prospective work while still a student. The start of this program was dedicated to a press conference, held on June 27 in Yerevan.
As you know, some time ago, AmericaBank announced its transition to a model of a universal bank. In this regard, vacant positions in retail banking have especially increased, and accordingly the bank began to solve the personnel problems that stood before it. And annually, from about 700 applications for the passage of educational practice, Americabank selected 180-200 young people, half of whom later became employees of the bank. Now the bank has moved on. Both students and graduates of universities, whose age is within 20-25 years, have the opportunity to apply for participation in the program «Amery Generation». Several dozens of selected candidates will be able to undergo training in the newly opened training center of the Americabank. During their studies and practice, each of the young people will have his own mentor-manager, to whom he will be able to contact all issues, and the bank employees will, in turn, have the opportunity to look at students. As a result, at the end of training, young people can receive an offer to become members of the Bank team. If, of course, they show themselves from the best side.
“Our main goal is to attract energetic, talented and purposeful young people to the team,” said Arman Barsigyan, director of retail banking operations. — At the same time, this program will be a bridge between the university system and the employer «. In addition, the program will help young people begin their labor biography in the bank and gain practical knowledge in the financial sector, banking and in the business environment. According to Armina Ghazaryans, the head of the HR administration of the AmericaBank, the bank works closely with such advanced universities of Armenia as French and Slavic universities, the State Economic University, ESU and American University of Armenia. However, students of all universities can submit applications without exception.
Despite the need for personnel, the main priority will be extremely high -quality indicators, noted. Barseghan. “Our main emphasis is quality, and in this matter we do not put any mandatory quantitative indicators in this matter,” he said, and once again emphasized that the AmericaBank will be glad to accept young, ambitious, purposeful qualities in its ranks able to work in a team and at the same time profess the system of values that are close to the spirit of the bank.
It seems that the future employees of the AmericaBank quickly become pushed into the team, because, as the head of the HR service of the bank emphasized, their team is young, and the average age of employees does not exceed 33 years. She also added that the Amery generation program will recruit new groups with a frequency of 3-4 months.
