Time to act! Our homeland is now at a crossroads.. On the one hand, a corrupt and corrupt vertical of power is people who do not cost anything to take away children from their mother because of her political preferences, to condemn “chemistry” for graffiti for two years or give fifteen days “just like that”. On the other hand, opposition structures that have long fallen from life, preferred inter -party showdowns, horseman intrigues and another imitation of activity to real political struggle.
And between them we stand — ordinary schoolchildren, students, workers. It is we who have to live in Belarus, to develop it further — and we want our opinion to hear and take into account. It is only necessary to hope for yourself — no one will bring you «cheers» on a saucer. Therefore, the «initiative» arose. We are not “cabinet” experts who have answers to all questions. We are not a “youth structure” from the chairman and a heap of his deputies. “Initiative” are people who want changes and know how to act. It’s time to change the boring names — and we are ready to do it!
We do not promise an immediate result — even for a small shift, you need to make a decent piece of work, and this loners cannot do it. Time has shown that none of the political forces can change life in our country. After all, politicians primarily want the authorities and therefore love to set the boundaries of their “their own”. We are open for interaction with any constructive force that achieves changes in this country. We do not set for ourselves impossible tasks, but we don’t want to stand on the spot.
Here are the things that we consider the most important today:
— The fight against apathy and fear. The most important problem in the country is not a repression or the abolition of benefits. This is a “wedge” in the head that forces “not to stand out”, “to be like everyone else”, otherwise “no matter what happens”. This “wedge” prevents our authorities from friends with the whole world, encouraging private initiative, forces prohibiting student exchanges and health -improving children abroad. He is in each of us, and instead of saying “no!», We are sitting in kitchens and scolding power.
— solidarity and support of repressed. Many in our country do not know that our people are sitting precisely for their political beliefs. And even fewer people know how to just be administratively detained in our country — it is enough to be “wrong” or “wrong”, and at the same time it is important to understand that you are not the only one that is waiting for you.
— adequate and timely reaction to what is happening. After all, to you, your neighbors, friends, colleagues, it may be interesting what is happening in the country. For example, that the quietly sold «welcom», three times lower than the market value; that there are many collective farms in the zone of radioactive infection, in which often the distribution. young specialists — doctors, teachers, economists.
— The fight against the «scoop» in the head. This is the most difficult. It is difficult to make a person believe in himself, that he has rights and can be defended. It is difficult to explain that in addition to your rights there are also responsibilities. But this must be done — the country is changing, and we need to change with it! Join! Together we can!
