Every year on the third Thursday of November, the day of rejection of smoking is celebrated all over the world. So in our city on Lenin Square, the Department of Culture, Youth Affairs, Sports and Tourism, together with volunteers, held a promotion against smoking.
Six volunteers — students of school No. 3 — distributed to Finder Foresters on Lenin Square — informational leaflets. Schoolgirls told passers -by about the dangers of smoking and a healthy lifestyle. Oddly enough, but most of the leaflets were taken by non -smoking people who care about their health. And the malicious smokers, having received a flyer, did not even try to throw off a lit cigarette. Some tobacco lovers honestly admitted: they do not think to quit smoking, although they perfectly understand the degree of harm. And they referred to other factors that spoil the life and health of a person — the quality of food, water and polluted air. Particularly convinced smokers, having heard from schoolgirls the winged phrase “a drop of nicotine kills a horse”, immediately retorted: “The horses will die and from work!»
Surely many fans of cigarettes decided that instructive notations of schoolgirls are a waste of time, and they, adults, are much more visible from the height of the lived years, which is more useful for them. But despite the personal position of people, the very fact that they smoke at the Shakhtar Palace of Culture and the Children’s School of Arts does not exempt them from responsibility. For two years now, an anti -tobacco law has been in force in Russia, limiting smoking near cultural, educational and medical institutions. Administrative responsibility threatens even to those who smoke in the presence of minors, thereby involving them in the smoking process.
This year, sixty-nine administrative cases have been instituted for smoking in the wrong places against Nelidovites-the Nelidovsky Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported in the information and analytical department. According to sociological studies, the fight against a bad habit gives its results: after the introduction of the federal law “On the restriction of smoking tobacco”, the number of smokers in Russia is noticeably reduced.
