Preparation of the base for bulk floors

For the manufacture of high -quality bulk floor, you should take care of a thorough preparation of the base, otherwise all the work will go. Most often the base for bulk floors is a concrete surface. First of all, you need to carefully clean the base of dust and other contaminants, then with the help of a cement mortar should be carefully close all cracks, potholes and chips. The next step will be the work on grinding the surface using special polymer compounds. This work is performed using a grinding device specially designed to work on concrete. After which it will require thorough surface cleaning with a powerful industrial vacuum cleaner.

The next procedure is the priming of the prepared surface with special compounds. Next, proceed to applying the bulk floor layers. As a rule, the bulk composition is available in the form of two components with labeling “A” and “B”. Before use, you should withstand the compositions at room temperature, after which both components are quickly mixed and poured according to the prepared base. The bulk layer should be applied starting from the far corner of the room, leaving the surface with a spatula. It should be borne in mind that for floors with a low load, 1 mm of the main layer will be enough, for the average load — 1.5 mm, for intensive load — at least 5 mm.

After applying the main layer, you can proceed to the decorative decoration of the floor using various drawings, photo images and other design elements.
