Rules for laying tiles

Before laying tiles, the surface must be correctly prepared. The wall should be clean, smooth and even. You can check the evenness of the walls using a special rail. If the surface deviates more than 5 millimeters, you will have to leve it. This can be done in two ways: either using a plaster applied to the walls using painting racks, as well as using a special solution distributed on the surface with layers of up to two centimeters thick. Before laying the tile, it is recommended to primed the surface, which will help glue better to cling, and the tile is later better to hold.

Laying tiles begin from the lower corner of the wall. First, the adhesive with a trowel is applied to a small section of the wall, after which the substance is smoothed out with the smooth side, at the final stage, special grooves of the same size are made by the gear side of the trowel. Only in the case of all these manipulations will the tile be glued evenly. The final stage of laying tiles is the grout of the seams, to which they proceed after the glue has already dried and the crosses from the seams were removed.
