On October 13, it became known that most Russians, regardless of the type of activity, with the advent of autumn were again worried about their future economic situation.
Rosgosstrakh and Rosstat calculated the leading indicators, directly indicating the likelihood of a general deterioration in the economic situation in Russia as a whole, which can occur in the coming months.
Based on the results of the Rosstat study, in the III quarter of this year, the level of confidence of citizens in tomorrow decreased by 2 percentage points. Comparing the current indicator with the results of a similar study of the II quarter, you can see that today the indicator has decreased to 6%. It is worth noting that a decrease in consumer confidence in Russia was recorded for the first time, starting from the first quarter of last year.
The report provided by Rosstat says that the reduction of the consumer confidence index was primarily influenced by the overstated expectations of citizens and high hopes assigned to an increase in the economic situation in the short term.
As already mentioned, the index of the expected growth of the economic situation immediately decreased by 6 percentage points, amounting to 2%, which is 2% less than in the previous quarter.
Only 20% of all respondents expect positive changes in the economic situation of the country over the next year. In the last quarter, this figure was 25%. 22% of respondents, on the contrary, are confident in the changes for the worse. This figure is also 5% worse than in the previous one, II quarter.
Rosgosstrakh conducted his own study, which also indicated the corruption of consumer sentiments. According to the organization, already in September of this year, about 69% of Russians expect a change for the worst, while in the summer, there were only 58% of such respondents.
The most experts of Rosgosstrakh are most worried about the fall of moods among enterprise managers, regarding their future business. This is an extremely negative signal, which in the future can adversely affect economic development. Today, only 64% of the managers surveyed are sure of the tomorrow of their own firms, in August there were about 75%.
In general, about 84% of residents of large cities in Russia are fully or partially satisfied with their own life. This is a fairly high level of satisfaction, however, there was no anxious trend here, because by the end of the summer of satisfied Russians there were about 89%.
Among all respondents, only 18% of Russians consider themselves wealthy enough to buy a new car. Comparing with the results of polls at the end of summer, the figure fell by 5%.Nevertheless, the current indicators of Russians satisfaction with their own lives are higher than according to the results of a similar study conducted last year. Then only 13% of citizens attributed themselves to the property group.
But this is far from all the negative data given in published studies. Such numbers there are enough. Among other things, compared with indicators at the end of August, unemployment in the country increased by another 1.5 percent.
