The standard linoleum coating is also resistant to moisture and aggressive substances, but there are special varieties of material.
Special varieties of linoleum:
Medical — is distinguished by special antibactericidal additives, used in medical institutions; sports — characterized by the presence of a protective layer of polyurethane, which increases the wear resistance of the material and protects against pollution; Soundproofing — differs in a thick substrate of polyuretral foam or traffic jams, increases the soundproofing of the room;
Anti -slip — characterized by a corrugated surface or the presence of a special additive that prevents sliding; Antistatic — several varieties that differ in electric resistance are used in offices and computer clubs.
Special types of linoleum imply a special styling technology for maximum manifestation of useful qualities. Depending on the purpose of linoleum, specific care for the material may be required.
